Associateships

There are many benefits to joining a practice as an Associate and just as many for a senior dentist to hire one. However, navigating the associateship process can be tricky and complicated for both parties involved.

For the practice owner, putting together a contract and selecting a compensation model are generally considered amongst the first steps in the process, but there are many more very important points that should be addressed, as well. For the potential Associate, understanding the contract and its restrictive covenants, evaluating the working conditions and procedures as well as assessing if the practice environment is a good fit are all equally complex.
